Roston Lamar Chase was born on March 22, 1992, in Christ Church Parish, Barbados. He attended Wesley Hall Primary School and later joined the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. His mother gave him a two-year window to prove himself in cricket before focusing fully on academics. Fortunately, he made the most of the opportunity, quickly rising through the ranks.
